To The Guardian David Eagleman
is “a little bit of a genius”, to The
Times he’s “the hottest thing in neuroscience”. He’s an adjunct professor at Stanford University; director of the Centre of Science and Law; co-founder of NeoSensory (a brainy out t which “creates novel sensory experiences”); and The New York Times bestselling author of non- ction titles Incognito, The Brain, and The Runaway Species. He has also presented a groundbreaking BBC series on the brain and written the short  ction collection Sum. Lisa Reihana: Emissaries and its centrepiece In Pursuit of Venus [infected], 2015-2017 was an art highlight of
2017: a work of digital complexity, penetrating creativity and colonial interrogation it shone on the international stage and continues to have a life in countries around the world. To celebrate the achievement, also commemorated in a book of
the same name, edited by Rhana Devenport and produced by Auckland Art Gallery, New Zealand’s 2017 Venice Biennale artist Lisa Reihana presents a talk on her work, her practice and this most ambitious and complex project.

THE PASSAGE OF LOVE: ALEX MILLER

A beacon in Australia’s literary scene, Alex Miller has authored
12 novels and numerous essays
and short stories, collecting the Commonwealth Writers’ Prize as well as the Miles Franklin Literary Award along the way. His work investigates art, creativity, love
and passion and is notable for its  nely drawn characterisations and beautifully crafted prose. Miller says of his latest, the autobiographical novel The Passage of Love, that it is his “opportunity in old age to review my life and to celebrate the lives of loved ones, and to do this in the form of story.” He re ects on his life and writing with Michelle Langstone.
