Bridget van der Zijpp’s first novel, Misconduct, came out in April 2008 (VUP). After a career in the radio industry in Auckland, she moved to Wellington to complete an M.A. at the International Institute of Modern Letters at Victoria University. While writing, she worked on arts projects including the Cuba St Carnival, The 2007 Wellington International Jazz Festival, Douglas Wright’s tour of Black Milk, and the '08 New Zealand International Arts Festival.
