Grant Christie

Dr. Grant Christie Ph.D., MNZM, FRASNZ is president of the Auckland Astronomical Society and vice-president of the Royal Astronomical Society of NZ.  

He also heads a research programme searching for extra-solar planets at Stardome Observatory and speaks regularly about science on 95bFM. 

Christie has had a life-long passion for astronomy and the universe and considers it an amazing stroke of luck to be alive just when a scientific understanding of the universe is finally within our grasp.
