Jon Johansson is a lecturer in Comparative Politics at Victoria University of Wellington. His wide interests include political leadership, New Zealand politics since 1975, political rhetoric, American politics and political psychology. Jon has just completed his second book, which is an examination of the cycles of New Zealand politics and the leadership dynamic emerging out of the 2008 election. Jon heads of to Washington in August to teach at Georgetown University following his award as Fulbright’s Visiting Scholar for the fall semester.
