Arts Foundation laureate Kate De Goldi writes and reviews fiction for all ages.
Her many awards include the American Express and Katherine Mansfield Memorial short story awards and the New Zealand Post Children’s Book of the Year Award (twice), most recently for The 10pm Question (2008) for which she also won the LUCHS Prize 2011 and the Corine International Book Prize Young Readers Award.
She is currently writing a biography of children’s book collector and archivist Susan Price.
