Lionel Shriver is the author of eight previous novels, as well as a journalist for the Guardian, the New York Times and the Daily Telegraph, among many other publications.

An international bestseller that has sold over a million copies worldwide, We Need to Talk About Kevin won the Orange Prize for Fiction in 2005, and has been translated into 25 languages.

Her new novel, So Much For That, will be released in New Zealand in early April. Lionel Shriver lives in London and New York City.
