Mary Kisler is Senior Curator, Mackelvie Collection, International Art at Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki, whose collection responsibilities range from the 13th to the mid-20th century. Travelling widely both for research and personal pleasure, she has also guided several art history trips to Europe. Since 2001, she has talked about art on Radio New Zealand National’s “Saturday Morning with Kim Hill” programme. Angels & Aristocrats: Early European Art in New Zealand Public Collections (Godwit) was published in 2010.
