Michael Harlow is a poet, editor, librettist, scriptwriter and Jungian therapist. Poetry editor at Landfall for a decade, Katherine Mansfield Fellow in 1986 and the 2004 Randell Cottage Writer in Residence, he has won numerous poetry prizes, including first prize in the 2008 Bravado International Poetry Prize, and has represented New Zealand at a number of international festivals and seminars. His seven books of poetry include Cassandra’s Daughter (AUP 2005, 2006), and most recently The Tram Conductor’s Blue Cap (AUP 2009). He is the current Robert Burns Fellow and the inaugural Caselberg Artist in Residence.
