Penny Ashton, aka the Hot Pink Poet, has become New Zealand’s own global poet and comedienne having had sold out shows from Edinburgh to Adelaide, from Edmonton to Hamilton.

She has represented New Zealand as a slam poet and as an Improviser, is Poetry Idol’s inventor, and is also the proud winner of Best Ricky Martin Rewrite at the Winnipeg Fringe 2007.
