Penny Ashton, aka Ms Hot Pink, has become New Zealand’s own global poet and comedienne having sold out shows from Edinburgh to Adelaide to Edmonton to Hamilton. She has represented New Zealand as a slam poet and as an Improviser, is Poetry Idol’s inventor, and is also the proud winner of Best Ricky Martin Rewrite at the Winnipeg Fringe 2007.
