Stephanie Johnson is the author of two collections of poetry, three collections of short stories and nine novels. A founding trustee of the Auckland Writers & Readers Festival, and its acting artistic director for part of 2011, her latest book The Open World is published in April 2012.
Johnson has won the Montana Medal for Fiction, the Bruce Mason Playwrights’ Award and a Katherine Mansfield Fellowship, and has been published internationally.
