He went on to become our best loved poet ever. \n \nLast year saw the publication of Small Holes in the Silence: Collected Poems, showcasing Tuwhare&rsquo;s achievement with 300 poems, 43 new Maori translations and 10 never-before-published pieces. \n&nbsp;\n\nIn this tribute to his genius, Poet Laureate Ian Wedde and New Zealand poets Jacq Carter, Anne Kennedy, Gregory O&rsquo;Brien, Rob Tuwhare and Albert Wendt each present a poem of Tuwhare&rsquo;s, one of their own and one from the collection of a co-presenter. \nMC: Witi Ihimaera
