AN INSIDE PEEK
The Writing Life: Twelve New Zealand Authors celebrates twelve of the country’s eminent post-war writers, with Deborah Shepard’s text accompanied by John McDermott’s photographs of writers’ workrooms. We bring together five of Shepard’s subjects –Tessa Duder, Witi Ihimaera, Ockham NZ Book Award shortlisters Fiona Kidman and Vincent O’Sullivan, and Albert Wendt – for a look at their daily routines and practice before taking questions from the floor. Chaired by Owen Scott.
Please note this event had now moved to the Hunua Room, Aotea Centre, not the ASB Theatre as originally advertised.
