DAVID CHARIANDY: BIPOC WRITING TODAY
‘BIPOC’ is a term used in some contexts to denote Black people, Indigenous people, and ‘people of colour’ more broadly. In this workshop, we will discuss the political, ethical, and always necessarily formal challenges of BIPOC writing today. We will discuss different issues and perspectives raised by BIPOC writers globally, as well as share challenges and advice proceeding specifically from our own writing practice.
Limited to 40 participants.
Note: This workshop will be centered on the experiences and voices of people of colour, although places are open to all.
Supported by Canada Council for the Arts.
