TAKE TO THE GULF: RAEWYN PEART
The 4000km2 Hauraki Gulf/Tikapa Moana is a precious but vulnerable part of the country, sometimes difficult for landlubbers to access. Not any more! Join author of The Story of the Hauraki Gulf Raewyn Peart, and strike out for Rangitoto, Motutapu, Motuihe and the Noises before cruising past Waiheke down to Rotoroa Island, where you can alight for a stroll. On the homeward voyage the boat motors up Tamaki Strait before arriving back in the city.
Includes $5 donation per person to Rotoroa Restoration Programme. Limited to 100 passengers. Embarkation point for strict 9am departure: entrance to the Maritime Museum in the Viaduct.
