David Downs is CEO of The New Zealand Story, a board director, and Chair of The Icehouse. He is also an ex-comedian, actor, semi-finalist for New Zealander of the Year. His book A Mild Touch of the Cancer, written to document his battle with cancer, is now a documentary film. He co-wrote Drink, Smoke, Snort, Stroke … with Willy de Wit.
