Award-winning poet, doctor and youth mentor Fardowsa Mohamed is a NZ-born child of Somali parents. She has been published in numerous journals and anthologies including Landfall, Poetry New Zealand, Sport 47 and also Ko Aotearoa Ttou: We Are New Zealand.
