AOTEAROA NEW ZEALAND

Author Fraser Smith is Principal of Kaitaia’s Oturu School and has worked as a fisherman, musician and farmer. He won a Storylines Notable Book Award in 2018 for his first book Awatea’s Treasure which was also shortlisted for the NZ Book Awards for Children and Young Adults Best First Book.
