Poet, essayist Dr Helen Heath’s debut poetry collection, Graft, was the first work of fiction or poetry even to be shortlisted for the Royal Society of NZ Science Book Prize. Her second collection Are Friends Electric? is shortlisted for the 2019 Ockham NZ Book Awards.
