Jason Te Mete (Ngāti Ranginui) is a freelance actor, musical director, pianist and playwright. His first play Little Black Bitch was the winner of the 2018 Adam NZ Play Award for Best Play by a Māori Playwright. His most recent play Uninvited, is the second in his Over My Dead Body series.
