Julia Deans is a singer-songwriter best known as the frontwoman for Fur Patrol. She has released a number of solo and group albums including Pet, Modern Fables,We Light Fire, and The Adults. Her critically acclaimed work has received multiple nominations for the Taite Music Prize, APRA Silver Scroll, and NZ Music Awards. Julia is also a contributor to Mansfield, an album of 12 artists who have each set a Katherine Mansfield poem to music.
