BULGARIA/NEW ZEALAND

Born in Bulgaria, Kapka Kassabova emigrated to NZ and now lives in Scotland. She is the author of poetry, fiction and non-fiction including, Border, which won the 2017 Scottish Book of the Year and the Stanford Dolman Travel Book of the Year and is on the National Book Critics Circle Award shortlist.
