Author and curator Kolokesa Uafā Māhina-Tuai has worked at Te Papa, Auckland Museum, and Auckland Art Gallery. She co-founded cultural consultancy Lagi-Maama, and coedited Crafting Aotearoa: A Cultural History of Making in New Zealand and the Wider Moana Oceania with Karl Chitham and Damian Skinner.
