Lenora Chu is an award-winning journalist and author with more than a dozen years’ experience in both the U.S. and China. Her parents' families emigrated from China to the U.S. via Taiwan, and she was born and raised in America. Her first book, Little Soldiers: An American Boy, A Chinese School and the Global Race to Achieve, tells the story of China's education system from her perspective as an American mother and journalist living in China (Sep 2017). She is a former TV correspondent with Thomson Reuters and a contributing writer with CNNMoney.com, and her freelance work has appeared in the New York Times, the Christian Science Monitor, APM’s Marketplace and PRI’s The World.
