Lucinda Hawksley is an author and broadcaster, and the great-great-great granddaughter of Charles Dickens. Her writing subjects include biography, social history, feminism, travel and art history and she is the author of Moustaches, Whiskers and Beards, a history of facial hair through portraiture.
