Mya Morrison-Middleton (Ngāi Tahu) is a writer, poet, facilitator and DJ. She works at Basement Theatre and is the creator and director of the play Maumahara Girlie which won the production team the Outstanding Emerging Company at the 2018 Auckland Theatre Awards.
