FRANCE

Sébastien Galliot studied ethnology at the University of Provence and EHESS (Paris). His research focuses on Sāmoan traditional tattooing and the contemporary practice of this ritual. He and Sean Mallon are co-authors of Tatau: A History of Sāmoan Tattooing which is shortlisted for the 2019 Ockham NZ Book Awards.
