Hapai Productions co-creator Tanea Heke (Ngā Puhi) has worked in theatre and the arts in Aotearoa for many years. Her recent projects include Portrait of a Mongrel Artist: Rowley Habib and the acclaimed film Waru which brought wāhine Māori directors, writers and characters to the fore.
