Toby Morris is a writer, comic artist and illustrator who writes and draws for adults and children. He's won 'Cartoonist of the Year' at the New Zealand media awards three times and 'Best Artwork' five times, and the Prime Minister's Award for Science Communication for his visual explainer graphics on Covid that were shared around the world. He's created documentary comics for adults, artwork for New Zealand bands like The Beths, Beastwars and The Phoenix Foundation, a graphic novel on Te Tiriti O Waitangi for children, and his artwork even features on the box of Edmonds Baking Powder. His favourite projects are books for children, and in 2025 he wrote and illustrated the picture book 'Pūkeko Who-keko?'.
