Tracy Farr is a Wellington writer who used to be a scientist. She won the Sunday Star-Times Short Story Award in 2014, and her debut novel The Life and Loves of Lena Gaunt was longlisted for that year’s Miles Franklin Literary Award. The Hope Fault is her second novel.
