Freedom is in the Finances: Simran Kaur, Frances Cook, Te Kahukura Boynton
Three young podcasters have set out to bust the myths about who investing is for, demystifying the jargon and helping generate future freedom through individual wealth creation. Simran Kaur is a TEDx speaker, columnist and founder of the number-one stock market podcast for women, Girls That Invest, with over three million downloads. She is also the author of a book of the same name, encouraging women to claim their space in the world of finance. On the popular podcast Cooking the Books, Frances Cook tackles a different money problem every week, and is also the author of Your Money, Your Future and Tales From a Financial Hot Mess. Law student Te Kahukura Boynton (Te Whakatūhea, Ngāti Kahungunu, Ngāi Tūhoe) has created the platform Māori Millionaire to empower Māori to achieve independence and overcome disparity. Together they talk about the path to financial literacy with comedian Natalie Samy.
