The sixth annual STREETSIDE takes over Britomart Precinct on Friday for an evening of readings, declarations, live storytelling and more. Performers, poets and writers of all stripes will be sharing the mic and drumming up a response to the space they stand on. Expect hilarity, profundity and the thrill of the pace. From Takutai Square and inside the magnificent rooms of Auckland’s oldest heritage buildings, writers will riff, recite and recount on notions of homecoming, take flight in a shoe shop and rise up on a loading platform. Don't be late! Events are all run concurrently and run 15 minutes on the clock. An extraordinary line-up awaits you:
