Anjuli Selvadurai

Anjuli Selvadurai is the Wikimedian in Residence at Tāmaki Paenga Hira Auckland Museum. With a background in art, design, and museum studies, her work sits at the intersection of open-access knowledge, cultural heritage, and representation. She is passionate about making information more accessible and ensuring diverse voices are reflected in digital spaces. Anjuli is dedicated to diversifying content on Wikimedia by drawing upon the collections, research, and knowledge housed within Auckland Museum. She works to increase the visibility of underrepresented histories, ensuring that the stories of Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland and Aotearoa New Zealand are documented, shared and accessible. Through collaboration with museum professionals and the Wikimedia community, Anjuli fosters engagement with the open knowledge platform, Wikipedia. Her work empowers others to contribute and shape the platform, creating a more inclusive and representative online knowledge ecosystem.
