Owner of The Women’s Bookshop in Ponsonby, Carole Beu is a regular reviewer and event chair and the presenter of the annual Ladies’ LiteraTea. She was a founding trustee of the Festival and in 2019 was awarded an MNZM for services to the literary industry.
