Craig Cliff is the author of the novels The Mannequin Makers and Nailing Down the Saint, and the story collection A Man Melting, which won the 2011 Commonwealth Writers’ Prize for Best First Book. He reviews books for a range of New Zealand publications and is the convenor of the judging panel for the Jann Medlicott Acorn Prize for Fiction in the 2026 Ockham New Zealand Book Awards. He lives in Ōtepoti Dunedin.
