The writer and illustrator Edward Carey has authored plays, novels and even a puppet show. His books for younger readers are filled with witty, surreal drawings and urbane plots. Carey teaches at the University of Austin and his latest book is Lungdon (2015), the final instalment in the Iremonger trilogy.
