Miranda Wilson

Miranda Wilson’s screen and stage career spans over three decades with a body of work that reflects her range, depth, and dedication to her craft. Miranda’s early career was grounded in roles in contemporary theatre classics by acclaimed playwrights Renée; Dean Parker; Stuart Hoar; and Caryl Churchill. Miranda’s screen credits include Mahana (directed by Lee Tamahori), The Brokenwood Mysteries, Westside and The Shannara Chronicles. Miranda is also a writer and researcher in screen and academia. Her academic research has been published in Jump Cut: A Review of Contemporary Media; Sightlines: Filmmaking in the Academy Journal; and the peer-reviewed online publication Sounding Out.
