The National Library Community Engagement and Learning directorate includes the Reading and Learning Resources team. They empower school and kura communities by providing nationwide services that promote literacy, foster learning and advance library development. Within this team are expert staff (trained librarians, former teachers) who offer readers' advisory and curate loans of relevant and engaging books to support learning and inspire reading for pleasure.
