AOTEAROA NEW ZEALAND

Pip McKay’s debut novel The Telling Time transports the reader from Yugoslavia to New Zealand, and back again, in the late 1950s and 1989. It won the 2020 International First Pages Prize judged by a panel including author Sebastian Faulks and was shortlisted for the NZSA historical fiction prize.
