CANADA/ AOTEAROA NEW ZEALAND

Ray Berard was born in Canada and emigrated to New Zealand in 1994. He is the author of Inside the Black Horse, which won the Best First Book Award at the 2016 Ngaio Marsh Awards and has been adapted for screen as the six-part drama series Vegas, which airs on Television New Zealand in April.
