Professor Robert Greenberg is the Dean of the Faculty of Arts and a Professor of Linguistics at The University of Auckland. Born in America, he was diagnosed with diagnosed with retinitis pigmentosa when he was 13, a rare, inherited degenerative eye disease that causes severe vision impairment.
