Sarina Clark is the author of the Aotearoa number-one bestseller Dragonfall – Fate of Dragons, the fiery first instalment in her debut children’s fantasy series. Sarina began writing seriously after an injury forced her to slow down. She currently juggles writing with a day (and sometimes night) job as a registered nurse. When she’s not writing or working, Sarina can be found spending time with her family. She enjoys the outdoors, including horseback riding and sometimes imagines riding her one-eyed horse is possibly just as awesome as riding a dragon might be. But in Dragonfall, there are no dragon-riders, no people at all. Just a perfect escape to pure fantasy. Sarina lives on a lifestyle block in the Waikato, surrounded by a menagerie of mischievous pets, including the one-eyed horse, a demanding cat, an escape-artist dog, two noisy cockatiels and many, many chickens.
