Shilo Kino is an award-winning writer and journalist of Ngāpuhi, Ngāti Maniapoto, and Ngāti Te Ata descent. She is the author of All That We Know, a bestseller exploring the experience of reclaiming culture and social media activism as a young wahine Māori, and The Pōrangi Boy, a historical novel based on the true story of a prison built on sacred land in Ngāwha, now part of the English curriculum in schools nationwide.
