AOTEAROA NEW ZEALAND

Writer and director Simone Kaho (Tongan, Pākehā) has an MA in poetry from the International Institute of Modern Letters and was awarded the IIML 2022 Emerging Pasifika writer in residence. She directed E-Tangata’s Conversations web series and has worked as a journalist for Tagata Pasifka. Six years following Simone’s first poetry collection, Lucky Punch, her second book HEAL! is about recovery after sexual violence.
