Tomasin Fisher-Johnson

Tomasin Fisher-Johnson is an performer based in Whangārei. She is a founding member of Company of Giants, a Whangārei-based theatre collective who create original, vibrant, and thought-provoking performance works.

Tomasin has a strong musical background and has been playing, composing and performing musical pieces in many Company of Giants productions.

Tomasin trained at John Bolton's theatre course, in clown, Bouffon and Neutral Mask. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education and New Zealand Sign Language (NZSL), as well as a Diploma in Teaching. She has worked as a Teacher of the Deaf and has since explored incorporating NZSL within theatre performance.

Tomasin created the Tiny Show in 2022 and she has since performed at various festivals around Aoteroa. The show incorporates her skills in music, sign language and clown to create a magical show for young tamariki and their families.
