Tracy Farr

Tracy Farr is a writer who used to be a scientist. Melbourne-born and Perth-raised, she lived in Vancouver before moving to Aotearoa in 1996. She’s lived on Te Motu Kairangi Miramar Peninsula in Wellington, where her novel Wonderland is set, for thirty years. Wonderland is longlisted for the Jann Medlicott Acorn Prize. Tracy’s debut novel The Life and Loves of Lena Gaunt was shortlisted for the Barbara Jefferis Award and Western Australian Premier’s Book Awards, and longlisted for the Miles Franklin Literary Award. Tracy is co-curator of the live literary series Bad Diaries Salon and its sister project, Bad Diaries Podcast.
