Tusiata Avia is a Samoan-New Zealand poet, performer and writer. Her  rst poetry collection, Wild Dogs Under My Skirt, became a solo show and has since turned into a play for six women. Her third collection, Fale Aitu/ Spirit House was shortlisted for the 2017 Ockham NZ Book Awards.
