Alison Jones is the co-author,
with Kuni Kaa Jenkins, of the
2018 Ockham NZ Book Awards shortlisted Tuai: A Traveller in Two Worlds, a follow-up to Words Between Us. A professor at The University
of Auckland, her interests include sociology of education and Ma- ori Pa-keha- relations.
LLOYD JONES NEW ZEALAND
One of NZ’s most successful novelists and essayists, Lloyd Jones is the author of The Book of Fame; Mister Pip, winner of the Commonwealth Prize; Handmedownworld, shortlisted for the Berlin international Prize; and a memoir A History of Silence. His latest novel is The Cage.
KUBÉ JONES-NEILL NEW ZEALAND
Kubé Jones-Neill has an MA in African Studies and African Resistance Literature and is the editor of A Season of Blood: Poems from Kenyan Prisons and Mwakenya: The Un nished Revolution, both by Maina wa Kinyatti. She is a founding member of African Film Festival New Zealand.

Writer and director Dione Joseph has worked as a journalist and arts critic, including arts editor at Melbourne City Newspaper and as a writer and reviewer for The New Zealand Herald, Metro, The Big Idea, DANZ and RNZ.

KAPKA KASSABOVA BULGARIA/NEW ZEALAND
Born in Bulgaria, Kapka Kassabova emigrated to NZ and now lives in Scotland. She is the author of poetry,  ction and non- ction including, Border, which won the 2017 Scottish Book of the Year and the Stanford Dolman Travel Book of the Year and is on the National Book Critics Circle Award shortlist. HE-MI KELLY NEW ZEALAND
He-mi Kelly (Nga-ti Maniapoto, Nga-ti Tahu, Nga- ti Whaoa) lectures in te reo Ma-ori at AUT, and is a licenced translator and graduate of Te Panekiretanga o Te Reo/The Institute of Excellence in the Ma- ori Language. He translated Witi Ihimaera’s Sleeps Standing and recently published A Ma-oriWordaDay.
ANNE KENNEDY NEW ZEALAND
Poet and novelist Anne Kennedy has won numerous national book awards and was shortlisted for the 2014 Book Awards Fiction prize for The Last Days of the National Costume. She teaches  ction and screenwriting at Manukau Institute of Technology. annekennedy.co.nz
