Clare Dunleavy has strong connections to Waiheke Island where her family founded Te Motu Vineyard and where she has worked as a sommelier and maitre’d. Her book Waiheke Island – A World of Wine: The People Behind the Labels profiles the winemakers of Waiheke, accompanied by portraits by the late Marti Friedlander.
