The Singapore Lit Salon

Sing Lit Station is an innovative and dynamic Singapore arts collective known for running the world’s first performance poetry/professional wrestling hybrid show, helming hour-long poetry readings on Singapore’s public transportation and painting invisible poems on sidewalks that appear only in the rain.

Two members from this collective accompany four fellow writers from Singapore for a salon night of spoken word, translated poetry, performance and more. Ranging from experimental eco-poetics to feminist rage writing, these artists will showcase the unique, playful and powerful writing coming out of contemporary Singapore.

MC’d by Aotearoa New Zealand Poet Laureate, Chris Tse. Line-up includes: Joshua Ip, Amanda Chong, Daryl Lim Wei Jie, Tse Hao Guang, Daryl Qilin Yam and Shivram Gopinath.

Supported by National Arts Council Singapore and Sing Lit Station.
